My 2 Favorite Pictures

This picture was taken during a photography trip to Ein Hod. I really like it because the steps and side wall lead you down into the black and white world. The balance between light and shade enables one to see the details of the stone wall and the trees in background. The bright orange flowers and green leaves in the foreground keeps the picture a little more interesting than just a black and white photograph and shows the light shining through them. Overall, I find this photograph appealing to the eye because of its cheerful yet subtle atmosphere.

This photograph was also taken during the photography trip to Ein Hod. I find it pleasing to look at because of the details. The light comes from the right side of the photograph and shines onto the door, making the shadows from the gate and tree appear on it. The details from the branches of the tree going in a seemingly random twisted way give a bit of interest to the picture. The pretty design in the gate feminizes the photo a little bit. My favorite however is the tie die blue shirt shoved into the gate. I feel like this brings your eye downwards and takes away the “prettiness” of this picture but adds practicality by having a messy shirt.
