Winter
Even though this picture is depressing, it greatly represents winter. The sky is so cloudy, grey and it's raining so much. Coca Cola

This picture reminds me of summer and holiday. I really like it because of the colors contrast. We can focus on the red and not on the blue sky that is in the background.

This is a picture I took during Hannukah. I had to use a fast shutter speed to get the picture dark enough, and my little cousins kept trying to poke my camera... I'm not entirely satisfied with how it turned out, but I think it's okay.

This photo was taken in Poland at a camp called maidonic. This is one of my favourite pictures because the picture before the photoshoped one was very dark and the shoes all looked the same, however, after I edited it, each shoe began to have its own 'identity'. After the Poland trip experience this photo meant a lot to me. I wish I could explain why but it's impossible to understand what it really means unless you experience it yourself.
I posted this picture because I really liked the composition of the water. The way the water forms into a ring it reminds me of when I was younger and I had fun playing in water sprinklers. I hope you like this picture like I do.
I really like this picture because it somehow adds something adds something different to this class. It has a composition of light, shadow and a variety of color. The flower stands out and is easily noticed in between the greenery. Konrad

I like this photograph because it gives a natural, homey feeling: a garden overgrown behind a deteriorating fence line that surrounds the property.
Despite the fact it's yet another cheesy photograph of the American flag, I've always enjoyed that faded, burnt-brown color that gives photographs their old-fashioned appeal. (It would have been interesting to see if I could have made it look crinkled, handled or torn, as if it were passed from person to person, generation to generation.)
Under the Stairs

This photograph was taken underneath the Elementary school stairs (closest to the fields), capturing the roof of a tool shed. Although I don't usually like it when photographs are manipulated by Photoshop, I like this one because it brings out the light in the background, shining through the stairs and creating a reflections. I am particularly drawn to the dark streaks dripping down, a contrast between the dark and the glistening light.

Out of all the pictures I took this semester this is one of my favorites. The composition of the sky and grass divided by the brown in the middle, though very simple, is very powerful. The bright colors of the sky and grass make the dark brown bench pop out to the eye. The simplicity of the photograph is what makes it work.
This picture is one of my favorite picture I've taken this year. This picture was taken in the elementary school playground. I like the colors in this picture and the shadows. This is from my playground project.
This picture is one of my favorite picture I have taken. The thing that has water in it stands out more because of the background, which is black and white.
Pray Mantis
I really like this picture because you can see the pray mantis very well, and th black and white makes it original
Leaves
I've always loved the view of black&white pictures. When I took this picture, I was wondering what to take for my wood project and saw a pile of leaves and sticks and took a picture of it. When I was editing the photo, I tried black&white and I liked it. I think it was green filter or something which made it looked better because the photo obviously had a lot of green in it from the leaves. This picture doesn't have any special deep, mysterious meaning, I just like how the picture turned out.
Flags of AIS
I really like this picture, because I think that it represents AIS really well. Because we are an American school in Israel, so this picture puts those two countries together. It reminds me of peace and freedom. I like the exposure in this photo. The shadows of the flags and the clear blue sky really add a dramatic factor to it.-Maya Perry-
This is my favorite picture of all the pictures i have taken this semester. I really like the red and how much it stands out. I also the way the lock looks. It makes the metal stand out.
The apple

This apple reminds me of the one that is given to Snow White. These colors that you won't see in real life make the picture original. The apple and the nails are definitely what you should be focused on by looking at this picture.

Origami
I uploaded this picture as it came mostly into creation by me messing around with the warp tool, but I think it came out nicely.
I chose this picture because I like the colors. Black and yellow are good together. I took this picture in the gym, so it was very hard because the light there is not very good for photography. I took many pictures there but this was one of the best because it's not blurry. The contrast between light and dark reinforces the dramatic composition.
