Sky

This image gives me a sense of freedom. The organic shape though, makes me think about somebody who wants, or have to hide from someone or advoid certain things. He\she is looking for a free life where he doesn't have to hide anymore and he almost found it .

Old stairway

This is the stairway in the old Greek Orthodox monastery in Jerusalem. It is visible how time affected the ancient stairway, ruining it in the most external part. Despite this, the prominency of the stairway remain intact giving the monastery a solid support and a strong look for all the visitors. Moreover, the rough image that it gives, creates a sense of strength and security.

The world from 30 floors up

This photo came from my light at night project that I did over vacation in Hawaii.  It was very difficult getting this photo because I had to slow down the shutter speed and open the aperture more for me to be able to capture it where there wasn't any moving squiggly lines or a blurred shoot because I didn't have a tripod.  What you are looking at is the original photo taken straight from the camera.  I like this photo because it makes the city look peaceful.

Still life

Still life - This picture gives me a sense of decay.  It represents the typical atmosphere of autumn, characterized by dead, brown, lifeless leaves on old ruined sheets of paper. This picture is very close to the original one, in fact the only modification I've made was to blacken the bottom of the old folder to make it seem as if death will rise from below and will slowly cover the whole subject.

Plumeria - Ryan

I chose this photo because it is interesting and I got it by total accident.  I moved the hue all the way over and then inverted it and it some how became this.  I like this because it reminded me of a TV show I watch it sounds weird but it is true.  Anyways this is my photo I'm not sure what to call it, maybe you can come up with a name.

Fuzzy

This is a close up of a shoe...what amazed me with the series of pictures I took of this shoe is the texture of the shoe. It looks so fuzzy! It seems like I used the HDR toning to edit this but the pictures all came out like this with no editing (besides warming the color of the photo). I like how detailed the image is as well as how I was able to find (in my opinion) beauty from such a simple object.

Looking Through

This photo is one of my favorite photos out of my "eyes" project. I was trying to find new and interesting ways to show how meaningful the eyes can be - the way we look at someone/something may have so many different meanings. I took a chair from outside and asked Naama to look through it and this is what came out of it. Such a simple concept but in my opinion it is such a strong picture. Her eyes look so Sharp and as if they are like straight at you. Also, I love how you can see light reflecting in her eyes and how the chair is a little blurry while her eyes stand out so bold.

Untitled (Floral Fantasy)

This image really captures the idea of "floral fantasy." The colors are very soft, and the layers give it a sense of depth.

Untitled (Cracks Through)

I chose to upload this picture from my "cracks through" project, because of the composition and lighting. The outside of the crack through is very exposed and illuminated, while the inside is extremely dark, and I like the contrast. In addition, the composition brings the viewer into the image and highlight the locks on either end of the crack, bringing the viewers attention to the focus of the image.
